They took gold and silver with them
Ex. 11:2, 3 "2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold. 3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people."
They left Egypt and took gold and silver with them.

Yeah I think so, for Aaron asked them to bring their gold earrings, look at these verses:
Ex. 32:2-4 "2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me. 3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron. 4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt."

They were to borrow from their neighbours, When you borrow something you have to give it back. Well they borrowed and kept! Is that not dishonest? The instruction came from God.

Re: They took gold and silver with them
I've heard that the Egyptians owed them and the Bible doesn't say that they were going to give it back. The word borrow might mean receive a donation...however the Bible does say...
Psalm 37:21 KJV
[21] The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
I'm not sure about this one
