We are all one in Christ

Gal. 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Gal. 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Gal. 3:28 tells us that there is neither male nor female. Does this mean that we can have males and females ordained as elders?

yes.....if men can use woman's toilets too. and participate in woman's teams at the olympics. and stay home and look after the children. and marry other men. If you disagree (i hope you do), it might be because theres a different interpretation as to what Paul was trying to express - not that there is no difference between male and female but that there is no rank, class, race, creed - or gender - that obtains God's favour over others. Good question though!

Also, if a woman can be a"husband of one wife" then she can be ordained as well (1Tim. 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach.), so, we see that it is biblically impossible for her to be ordained. But what actually the verse says is that we are the same in Christ before God, no one is better than anybody. Now the difference I find between man and woman is that they hold different responsibilities before God, in other words "they are one in Christ" (the same) but with different roles.
