The Bread of Everlasting Love

Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth [it].

The manna, falling from heaven for the sustenance of Israel, was a type of Him who came from God to give life to the world. Said Jesus, "I am that Bread of life... And among the promises of blessing to God's people in the future life it is written, "To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna." {PP 297.2}
