Is the sky a molten glass?

37:18 Hast thou with him spread out the sky, [which is] strong, [and] as a molten looking glass?
I believe to be just a description, " the sky is as a molten looking glass" the appearance of a mirror.

yeah I agree, it is a comparison because of the use of the word "as". It does not say it "is".
