Job 15: 20 The wicked man travaileth with pain all [his] days, and the number of years is hidden to the oppressor.
21 A dreadful sound [is] in his ears: in prosperity the destroyer shall come upon him.

Job still considered them as his friends, as we shall see further on.

Oh, how often those who think themselves the friends of a good man, and who are eager to show their fidelity to him, prove to be his most dangerous enemies! How often, instead of strengthening his faith, their words depress and dishearten! {DA 215.1}
