Do you think this prophecy was fulfilled in the time of the captivity only or can be applies to our time as well?

Is. 5:8, 9 "8 Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth! 9 In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant."

especially relevant for today:

James 5:1 ¶ Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.
James 5:2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.
James 5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

The woe seems to be for real estate owners. The land was given to the Israelite with the intention that the original allocation remain with each family.(Lev. 25:23 -25 ) By Isaiah's time, land speculators had begun putting together huge estates (Micah 2:2 an 9) and the powerful rich used legal processes to deprive the poor of what was rightfully theirs (Amos 2:6-7)
