37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

The ship was full of water - just about to sink!

38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

How was Jesus asleep through all this?

39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

Was this the power of Christ or the Father?

John 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

John 14:11 Believe Me that I am in the father and the father in Me, or else believe Me for the very works sake.
