Zeal without knowledge

Rom. 10:2 "For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge."

Zeal without knowledge = Legalism and pharisaism

protestantism as well? Is zeal of God without knowledge a good or bad thing if its not our fault we are ignorant?

it is our fault if we are ignorant. We must question everything.

If God hasn't given us opportunity we aren't accountable. You can't blame a child who has been raised by athiests, sent to an athiestic school, befriended by athiests, live and work with athiests. They have all the history of the Catholic church giving them a false representation of Christianity. They have fake Christians filled with greed and hate giving them a distorted view of God and Christ. The media is filled with anti Christian sentiments. The academic community is dominated by athiestic opinion. There is darkness everywhere, and even if there wasn't, they are blind, deaf, and prejudiced. When the true light is brought to them by a true Christian they will accept it. Before that time, God doesn't judge them.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at;

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
