Did the "men" that visited Abraham eat meat?

"4 Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

5 And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

6 And Abraham hastened into the tent unto Sarah, and said, Make ready quickly three measures of fine meal, knead it, and make cakes upon the hearth.

7 And Abraham ran unto the herd, and fetcht a calf tender and good, and gave it unto a young man; and he hasted to dress it.

8 And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set it before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat."


In verse 5 he says to them that will fetch a morsel of bread and they accepted it, then Sarah made cakes.
now in verse 7 Abraham does sth additional: a calf is mentioned to be prepared and, finally, butter, milk and the calf were set before them and they did eat. Now, the bread or cakes are not mentioned in verse 8. Anyway, did they eat meat? (They: heavenly beings and the Lord?)

I reckon they did because the bible says "they did eat." It would have blown Abraham's mind to be vegan.

Can the Lord defile Himself by eating flesh? Remember He touched the leper to heal him and received no defilement from that contagious disease. How? Because He is God.

I also believe they ate. It was not present truth at that time

Where does it say Abraham was a vegan? Genesis 18 chapter 1 to 8

That's the point...he wasn't.

You say if your living in the end  times that you should not eat meat to prepare when your with God because there is no eating meat then. Prove you have to get ready to not eat meat with the bible.
